Screw İn Metal Loops

Screw in metal loops are also called metal hooks. They are very useful and easy to mount gadgets. The hook is usually attached to the ceiling to hang decorative items such as tree baskets, lanterns, crystal lamps, wedding greeting paper strings.

However, incorrectly attaching the hook can damage ceilings and suspended objects. Depending on the weight of the object, you will need to attach a hook to a ceiling joist or use a bolt to suspend the object from a plaster ceiling. Plaster ceiling requires screw for metal and youshould askyour hardware store before you buy them.

Attach Hook To Ceiling Beam

Hang items weighing more than 4.5 kg with screw in metal loops. These beams are responsible for supporting the ceiling. This is the safest place to hang heavy objects without fear of damaging the ceiling or hanging object.

For items weighing less than 2.5 kg, you can use a hook. Adhesive hooks come in a variety of sizes and can be easily removed without peeling the paint off the ceiling. Different than the screwfix metal gates, gluing hook only sticks to flat ceilings and cannot be used on rough ceilings.

· If the object is very heavy, such as a bicycle, you should distribute the weight on the 2 screw in metal loops.

· Purchase screw hooks for hanging small, lightweight objects.

· If your item is small and can easily be hooked, use a round eyelet hook.

· For items weighing 4.5 kg or more, use a large ceiling hanger with a length of 5 cm or more.

Bike Hooks

Purchase screw in metal loops for hanging large and heavy objects. The utility hook is larger than a conventional screw hook and strong enough to hold items such as a bicycle. They also screw into the ceiling joist like a screw hook.

You can purchase a utility hook called a bicycle hook, which is specially designed to hang your bike. They're plastic coated and shaped well enough to attach to a wheel so you can hang your bike on the garage ceiling. You shouldnt use screw for metal studs for mounting your bike.

Rivet Detector

Use the rivet detector to locate the beam bar you want to screw in metal loops into. To gain access to the ceiling, climb onto something, hold the rivet detector close to the ceiling, and turn on the machine. Wander around until the lights indicate that the spikes are found.

If you don't have a rivet detector, you can also tap the ceiling with your finger to find the beam bar. The space between the rays makes a hollow and resonant sound, while where the rays are it makes a solid, solid sound.

If your home has an attic or attic where you want to hook up and the joists are exposed, observe the direction of the joists and the spacing between them.

Tip: Ceiling beams are usually spaced 40-60 cm apart. Once you find a joist, you can quickly find the next joist bar by using a tape measure to measure that distance if you know the distance between them and how to install it.

Drilling the Hole

Make a small round mark over the place where the beam is placed where you want to attach the screw in metal loops. Recheck the rivet detector on this location to make sure the beam is correct.

If you are going to attach 2 screw in metal hooks to hang a large object, attach 1 hook first, then hold the object to be hanged to determine the distance to the second hook.

Drill a pilot hole in the beam using a drill. Choose a drill bit that is smaller than the screw hook size. Drill in the marked position with a depth slightly longer than the threaded portion of the screw hook. If you screw into metal, use a very powerful drill.

The guide hole allows you to manually screw the hook into the ceiling without jamming or breaking. If the hole is too wide, there is no room for the hook thread to catch. If the hole is too narrow, it will be difficult for you to screw in the hook completely.

Inserting the Metal Loops

Insert the sharp end of screw in metal loops into the hole and screw the hook completely. Hold the hook firmly in your hand and slowly turn it clockwise. The deeper the screw, the more you will need to press it down.

If you can't turn the last few turns, use a light clamp on the hook to screw the hook all the way in. This method applies to both the screw and the auxiliary hook. These hooks even may have screw with metal anchor.

Use A Hooked Bolt

Use bolts to hang objects weighing less than 4.5kg to the plaster ceiling. The construction of the pin bolt consists of an opening and closing spring and a bolt placed between the two wings, helping to distribute the weight of the suspension.

Bolts are available from most hardware stores and have a hangable weight on the product package. You can use bolts to attach screw in metal loops to ceilings made of wood planks, cement mortars, or other materials such as soundproof ceilings. The installation process is similar to plaster ceilings.

Advice: Never use plastic bolts to hang objects from the ceiling. Plastic bolts are used to hang light objects on vertical walls. Use the internet to your advantage. Whether with the questions like how to attach wood to metal without screws or how to use metal hooks.
